NO STRAIGHT LINES (2021)

Assistant Editor for Vivian Kleiman's feature documentary No Straight Lines: The Rise of Queer Comics. The film chronicles the journeys of five scrappy queer artists from the margins of the underground comics scene to mainstream acceptance. Featuring Alison Bechdel, Howard Cruse, Mary Wings, Rupert Kinnard, and Jennifer Camper. Edited by Christiane Badgley and Linda Peckham. World Premiere at Tribeca Film Festival, European Premiere at Sheffield Doc/Fest. Won the Grand Jury Prize for Documentary Feature at Outfest, 2021. Selected for Independent Lens 2023 season, premiering January 23rd 2023.

IN POST PRODUCTION

Production Manager for phase one animation for director  Elena Guzman's feature documentary that tells the story of Kim, an African-American woman who lived with depression and trauma, and Elena, an Afro-Puerto Rican woman dealing with depression and grief after the death of her friend Kim. Weaving in and out of time and space, the film incorporates interviews, experimental/performance footage, and animation to explore their connection both past and present.  Produced by Cybee Bloss and Kimberly Edwards, edited by Laura Menchaca Ruiz. Selected by Black Public Media for distribution.

Producer/Director/Editor of this docu-fiction short that tells the tale of a magical abandoned park, its local history, and a new neighbor curious to get inside. This quirky, DIY documentary, uses playfulness, animation, and fantasy to tell the story of a neighborhood mystery.  Winner of an award in Documentary Independent Producing from the Alliance for Community Media (2022).

Worked with artist Eva Wo and eight high school students to produce two videos for Mural Arts Philadelphia's program Trash Academy.
